Anaesthesia and PeriAnesthesia Nursing
A Perianesthesia nurse could be a nursing skilled that cares for and monitors patients that are starting up of physiological state and sedation. Some of the side effects that patients may experience as they are coming out of anaesthesia include nausea and disorientation. In some rare cases, patients may also experience issues with respiration or other adverse reactions.
The session aims to share innovative education and management approaches, and new research and evidence-based practices to empower exemplary care for the perianaesthesia patient. The scientific programme will focus on using evidence, education and best clinical team practices to improve the quality of patient care before, during and following anaesthesia administration.
All relevant perianaesthesia practice abstracts were considered for oral and poster presentation.
